The 2013 Pacific Championships will be held in Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand from 28th November - 4th December 2013. It is a great honour that the Secretary General of FIBA (World), Mr Patrick Baumann, will join us in New Zealand.

Men's and women's teams from the Basketball Federations of Tahiti, New Caledonia, Samoa, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Guam, Fiji and New Zealand will participate in the Championships.

The FIBA Oceania 4 yearly Congress will be conducted during the Championships.  The Board of FIBA Oceania for 2014-2018 will be elected during the Congress.

A range of activities will be held during the Championships, and include:
*  Mr Lubo Kotleba, FIBA Sports Director will be holding a FIBA Referee Clinic.

*  Mr Patrick Hunt, President World Association of Basketball Coaches, will be conducting clinics for coaches.

The Championship is a great opportunity to build the capacity of local basketball volunteers and to showcase the beautiful Porirua region to the Oceania teams.
