22 Australian youth officials named for 3x3 Championships

Cooperation between Basketball NSW, Canberra, Queenland and FIBA Oceania has resulted in 22 young officials being named to officiate at the inaugural 3x3 Oceania Championships.

FIBA Oceania is very keen to continue the 'youth' focus for the 3x3 Championships, and through the cooperation of three Australian state Basketball Referee Coordinators, 22 young referees will be given the opportunity to officiate at the first 3x3 Youth Championships.

Thanks to Debbie Keirs, Karin Berrysmith and Barry McLeod's enthusiasm this group of officials, aged 16 to 22, will be the first officials to use the new FIBA rules in major competition in the Oceania region.

Declan Ninnes, Mitch Hudson, Ted Pettigrove, Kate Pettigrove, Samantha De Graf, Renae Fenwick, Micayla Helson, Nathan Paff, Ben Lomnicki, Karl Davidson, Brett Gooderham, Shauna Bastick, Ines Adanalic, Megan Johnson, Grace Amey, Nic Martin, James Burley, Billy Young, Alex McEwan, Samantha Boustead and Madi Crowley. 

We look forward to hosting these officials and their referee coaches during the Championships.
